How Much Do Party Buses Cost?

Whenever you are having a large event that is going to require moving a lot of people between the venue and the nearest public transport links or hotel accommodation, the idea of a party bus will present itself sooner or later.

You may be tempted to choose a fleet of limos instead – say you have forty people to transport, you will need a minimum of four of the larger limos that can each carry up to ten guests.

Or you can opt for an overall cost saving and choose a large, beautiful, and well-equipped party bus that will carry all of the guests at one time, ensuring that you know where in New Jersey the party is at all times! Let us take a look at what you get for your money, and see how much NJ party bus rental will cost.

Time to Party

Limos and party buses are most often hired out in blocks of three hours or so, with the first three-hour block being the minimum starting price. This applies even for one-way half-hour trips, because the drivers must be paid for their time, including preparing the bus for your party to enjoy, and then driving to the pick-up location, as well as getting back to the depot and refreshing the bus once again.

And then, of course, there are incidental charges, such as fuel, oil, wear and tear on the bus and so on – it is soon easy to see why there is a minimum hourly charge to hiring a party bus!

But this gives you more time with the bus than you might otherwise have, and as you are paying for the driver’s time, you can even make use of the bus’s facilities as part of your entertainment.

What Facilities Are There?

Party buses are nothing like their public transport cousins. Often boasting an attractive external appearance, with tinted windows for privacy and sleek and stylish lines, party bus interiors are amazing, often looking like a nightclub or disco, with comfortable soft bench seats, a great playlist, neon and strobe lights to get the party started, and sometimes even a bar, so pre-drinks can safely begin.

Stepping into a party bus can make you forget that you are even on the road, so authentic is the party scene inside.

Party Bus Capacity

Party buses can hold anywhere from ten people right up to forty or so, so you can gather all your guests in one elegant, well-equipped, and moving place to ensure that you all get to or from the venue in good time.

Taking the facilities, the amount of time that you have the bus at your service, complete with driver, and the capacity of the average party bus into account, it is easy to see how much of a bargain a party bus, running at just under $1,000 for a time-block.

Divided out by that forty person capacity, you arrive at the figure of $25 per head – which is not at all bad for a three-hour event, complete with complimentary drinks, the latest music, and a comfortable and stylish venue all in one!
