Super Soak: Everything You Need For The Perfect Bath

After a long, stressful day, there is no better way to take a load off than enjoying a nice, warm perfect bath. According to the American Psychological Association, our nation faces a mental health crisis of epic proportions.

Rather than dealing with your stress in a negative manner, such as turning to drugs or alcohol, why not enjoy an all-natural, wholesome, and healthy bath?

Before steaming-out your bathroom with a torrent of hot water to submerge your troubles in, check out this guide for having a perfect bath experience.

1. Start With a Clean Tub

Grime and dirt are two things that are sure to ruin any bath. Nobody wants to be looking at that soap scum line as they prepare to submerge their head into their questionable bathwater.

Cleaning your tub before bathing may seem like a hassle, but it is a critical part of making sure your bathing experience is top-notch. Spend the extra twenty minutes scrubbing your bath.

Work it into your overall home cleaning routine so it is ready to go at a moment’s notice. That way, you won’t be stuck frantically scrubbing the tub when you should be relaxing in it.

If you have a standalone tub for maximum comfort, having them spotless can go a long way in making your evenings more pleasurable.

2. The Right Temperature for a Perfect Bath

Bathwater that is too cold will constrict your blood vessels and be uncomfortable. Too hot of bathwater can scald you and leave you looking like a lobster.

Everybody has different tastes when it comes to water temperature, but in general, you will want your bath water to be between 100 degrees and 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

You don’t need to go in wielding a thermometer every-time, but get to know your taste and set the mood right with the right water temperature.

3. Focus on Bath Aesthetics

Get some incense or scented candles burning to enhance your sensual pleasure. Cater to all of your senses by putting on some light instrumental music to relax your ears.

Perhaps some light ambient light patterns from a projection device can improve your bath’s overall visual ambiance as well. Having a bath, a truly relaxing bath, is all about the proper aesthetic preparations beforehand.

4. Use Bath Products

Get some reputable bath and body products to add to your overall bathing experience. Things like bath bombs and other effervescences can take your bathing experience to the next level.

Bath oil is another great option for making your bath water and yourself smell great and feel silky smooth. Try as many different products as you can to figure out the ones that work best for you.

5. Wash Your Troubles Away

Showers may be the go-to hygiene routine for busy day-to-day life, but taking a bath takes your level of relaxation to the next level. There is a fine line between a quick rinse, and the ultimate, perfect bath.

Put in a little extra effort when taking a bath to make your experience more enjoyable. Your de-stressed mind and body will thank you once you feel your troubles melt away in the soapy aromatic waters.
