No Gigs During Covid? Boost Your Post-Apocalypse Attendance With Spotify

With every artist you love having to reschedule gigs owing to Covid-19, you might be worried that your own post-zombie-apocalypse tour may be poorly attended. Will those rescheduled concerts happen? We simply don’t know.

Tons of artists have simply cancelled their gigs. But, sooner or later, we’ll be hoping for business as usual. Let’s look at how you can keep your band or your venue alive during these troubling times.

As you no doubt expected, online stars are still making the big time regardless of social distancing recommendations. And they’re the ones people will go the extra mile for when the madness ends. Looking to boost post-Covid-19 stadium attendance? Artists and venues will be pulling out all the stops online to keep the interest in their live performances red-hot and raring to go.

1. Platforms That Keep The Magic Alive

Since your live performances can’t get any support, the online ones will keep the magic alive until you can stage live shows once again. It’s these online audiences that will be spending their hard-earned cash on concert tickets when we can finally be free to enjoy social contact once again.

Meanwhile, we’ll be looking at platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify to keep the music playing and the fans eagerly waiting for the next live show. Twitter and Facebook posts tend to move down your list of new stuff to see pretty fast. Spotify, on the other hand, is dedicated to music, and it works across other platforms too.

2. How Lively is Your Spotify?

You’ll know just how many listens you’re getting on Spotify. The stats are there for all to see. Not enough? There are easy and hard ways to boost those figures. And you’re not the only one looking at them. Listeners want to know that what they’re taking a closer look at is popular. So, you need to be popular in order to be MORE popular.

If this looks like a crazy conundrum, you aren’t the first to face it. It’s time to get out your “cheat sheet” and buck the system. Becoming a Spotistar means getting the momentum started so that it can keep building up in your favor. So, why not get a piece of the action by making sure you’ve got the initial attention you need to attract even more listeners and followers? It’s easy! Yes, it will cost you a few bucks, just as advertising your next show will. But, getting the promotion you need could be far less of a blow to your pocket than you expected.

Getting 100 likes could cost you as little as ten dollars. In “hamburger economics” terms, that’s less than two Big Macs. So, how much is interest in the next gig worth to you? Two burgers? Six? You call the shots and the rest happens without you having to lift more than the finger you use to enter your credit card number.

Contrast that with how much legwork you’ll have to do to get your Spotify hits the hard way, and you’re looking at a good deal. Spend hours promoting your Spotify link to people who’ll view your 5 listens with skepticism, or just grab the first 100 hits and let the rest roll in. Now that’s a good deal!

Anyone for hamburgers?
