  • 3. Avoid Bruxism
  • 4. Chew and Digest
  • 5. Boost Your Confidence
  • 6. Make Space
  • 7. Avoid Injuries

If your teeth are crooked, it can become difficult to brush and floss. If you leave food particles between your teeth, plaque can form.

Plaque can cause tartar and inflammation. Inflammation and bacteria could lead to gum disease. The symptoms of gum disease include:

  • Loose teeth
  • Bad breath
  • Pus between your teeth and gums
  • Changes in how your teeth fit together
  • Sensitivity
  • Pain when chewing
  • A receding gum line

Consider getting Invisalign before you develop gum disease. Otherwise, your risk of stroke, diabetes, and heart disease could increase.

2. Minimize Tooth Decay

If food particles are hiding between the gaps between your teeth, plaque can lead to cavity formation. You could lose teeth.

Invisalign treatment (along with brushing and flossing) could help you avoid tooth decay.

3. Avoid Bruxism

If your teeth aren’t properly aligned, you could develop bruxism. Bruxism occurs as you begin grinding your teeth together.

You could have difficulty sleeping. You might experience headaches, jaw soreness, and pain, too. Meanwhile, bruxism can cause your protective enamel to break down.

One of the benefits of Invisalign is it can fix your alignment issues. And at the same time, according to Batavia Family Dental, it can also act as a mouthguard. Then, you can avoid bruxism before your enamel wears down.

4. Chew and Digest

If your teeth aren’t straight, you might struggle to chew certain foods. You could struggle to digest what you eat as a result.

With straight teeth, you can chew and digest with ease.

5. Boost Your Confidence

One of the top benefits of Invisalign is the confidence boost you’ll experience.

You can straighten your teeth and start showing off your stunning new smile. You might feel more comfortable in social settings as a result. Consider these Invisalign benefits before continuing life with crooked teeth.

6. Make Space

When you’re missing a tooth, nearby teeth will lean toward the gap. Your teeth could look crooked as a result. You won’t have enough space for an implant to fill the gap.

Invisalign treatment will straighten your teeth, making space for an implant.

7. Avoid Injuries

I find it helpful to know that an Invisalign could help straighten your teeth to make space for a dental implant in your gap. I had one of my molars taken out years ago. I plan on getting an implant for it now, but my teeth have already moved to narrow the gap. Thanks for telling me about this treatment to solve that issue!
