The Dummies’ Guide To Essay Writing That You Need

Imagine telling a friend about a movie, such as “Chaos Walking.” You tell the story in detail, follow the plan of the story, then come to conclusions. This algorithm also works in essay writing. You need to think through a plan, point to your story, and draw conclusions. It’s not that difficult, is it? Then let’s move on to practice and learn more about the concept of essays.

1. Coming Up with a Story

First, take a certain topic and try to create its structure in your imagination. Follow the logic and try to describe everything in your own words. It is important for an essay to always have not only smart word combinations in the text but also a deep and intelligible sense. Argued conclusions and an extraordinary point of view will appeal to the reader and should always be present.

2. Forming the Structure

An essay is a prosaic expression of small volume and free composition, which expresses individual impressions and considerations on a particular occasion or question and deliberately does not claim a comprehensive answer. It seems that this is the easiest, take it for yourself and rewrite the thesis. So let us take a closer look at the main structure points of the essay.

  • A thesis is a position (judgment) that needs to be proved. The thesis is your belief. It should be clear, simple (do not overload statements with complex statements), and one that requires arguments to be disclosed. You can read more about it at TopEssayWriting and discover for yourself more original information. To practice writing these, do the following: first, express your opinion orally to a friend, and only then, after discussion, write one sentence.
  • Arguments are the categories used in proving the truth of a thesis. Each argument should be followed by an example, with argument 1 being a literary/artistic example and the other a historical/life example. The main problem here is this: students are worried and write down unconvincing examples (or completely wrong).
  • The conclusion is an opinion based on the analysis of facts. It seems that this is the easiest – take it for yourself and rewrite the thesis. Conclusions are your true beliefs, with which you personally still have to live.

3. Write an Essay in 7 Steps

Next what we need to think about is the essay writing algorithm. Here’s how it can be done most easily.

  1. Create a problem statement;
  2. Reflect on the problem (ideas, examples that illustrate them);
  3. Plan the essay (structure definition);
  4. Write it down;
  5. Check and edit the work;
  6. Prepare for the presentation;
  7. Present the essay.

It is better to write an essay creatively. Do not repeat someone, but look for your own way. You can read an essay sample on life and take some ideas from it for yourself. It’s all great, and more or less clear, but how to do it? Fortunately, there are rules that will help everyone write an essay.

4. Essay Writing Rules

  • It is worth using word connections. They help to move smoothly from one thought to another.
  • Diversify your sentence technique, as sentences that change into questions or exclamation points are much more interesting to read. It is good to write sentences of different lengths.
  • Use clear words, not too complicated and not simple at the same time. Sophistication is good but in moderation. Of course, you can impress everyone with your vocabulary, but in moderation.
  • Synonyms are very important, use them and diversify your text.
  • Conciseness also makes sense. You do not need to stretch the thought, or specifically tighten the sentence. Also make your conclusions and thoughts clear, do not tread on the spot.
  • Without repetitions, your text will be more unique, each sentence should have a unique meaning and be useful, carrying a logical load.
  • Your essay should show your life position. Your conclusions and your opinion are extremely important, so do not hesitate to say what you think about this or that issue.

5. Getting Creative

Getting Creative

Essays do not focus on the description of a real fact, nor even on the opinion for which this fact was the reason, but on the modeling of the artistic reality of the individual. Specifically, the essay is about thought and image in it being inseparable, the image is literally formed from thought. There is such a feature of the essay form, to convey the concentration of the inner intellectual world of the writer. This half-meditative, half-dialogue style is intended for rhetorical use. Essays cultivate a tradition of saving words and phrases.

By doing that, he managed to accumulate lots of experiences he had and his students shared. Now, as Michael retells those experiences to his reader, he’s really thankful for the career choices he made in his life.
